Alexa's father, Mark Hampton, was an amazing designer himself - working for the likes of clients such as George and Barbara Bush and Estee Lauder. When he died, in 1998, Alexa took over Mark Hampton LLC and has carried on her father's signature style of the hard-to-achieve, sophisticated yet inviting space.
